Vialia Estación de Vigo
The Vialia Shopping Centre in Vigo is a multifunctional project that combines a modern train station with a shopping centre, creating an urban meeting point that revitalises the area. Designed by architect Thom Mayne, the building stands out for its avant-garde architecture, with large open areas and terraces offering stunning views of the city and the Vigo estuary.
The exterior lighting is designed to emphasise the contemporary structure, with an integrated LED system highlighting the main architectural elements, such as the glass roofs and facades. This system creates a striking visual effect at night, positioning Vialia as an urban icon.
Inside, the lighting combines functionality and aesthetics, with a focus on highlighting shops, leisure areas and restaurants. In addition, the communal areas have natural lighting during the day thanks to the glass ceilings, complemented by artificial systems that ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere at all times.
