Bilbao Exhibition Centre

The Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC) was a space designed to become one of the largest trade fair and exhibition centres in Europe. Its modern and monumental architecture featured the use of large volumes and industrial materials such as glass and steel, reflecting the identity of the region.
The exterior lighting was designed to highlight the geometric lines of the building and provide a striking appearance at night, with the use of LED floodlights generating light effects on the faade.
Inside, the lighting design was optimised for trade fair events, with lights ensuring uniformity and adaptability, as well as minimising energy consumption, in line with the sustainability and functionality of the project.
